10U Revolution

We are excited to announce Sherilee Gode to coach our 10U team.  Sherilee has a long history of coaching from the 10U to 18U levels.

Work hard, play hard - Love the Game!

We will be a 10U team made up of players born in 2012 and 2013.  We will build a team with a strong work ethic.  Our athletes will work hard, play hard and have fun.  Our team will thrive on teamwork and life lessons learned through our practices and games. We play locally and travel the tri-state area.

The team is led by Head Coach Sherilee Gode with a focus on discipline, teamwork and critical softball skills.  Our Coaches bring a wealth of knowledge and foster an environment of empowerment and growth. We believe that in order to play well, our athletes need to have self-confidence, drive and a willingness to learn and develop.  We practice positive encouragement, build trust through honest communication and challenge our athletes to be their best selves.

11U Revolution Schwanda

The 11U Open team, led by Karl Schwanda, will build upon a highly successful 2021-2022 season that brought multiple Championship, Runner-Up & 3rd Place finishes. We look forward to building on that momentum in 2022-2023 season in local and regional 11 Open and 12B tournaments.

Coach Schwanda is a former Division III collegiate baseball player, and along with Coach Elmore, brings a wealth of knowledge & experience with a strong passion in developing players in a positive environment. We are proud to have developed five of our players to be selected as first-time USSSA All-Americans.

Our team not only focuses on the field, but also in the community. This is evident through our multiple service projects with organizations throughout the area.

Our team philosophy is, “Hustle & Heart Set Us Apart”. Our coaches are looking for hardworking, dedicated individuals that want to learn and commit to unlocking their potential. We look forward to seeing you at an Open Practice or Tryout.

12U Revolution Romano

Coach Romano is bringing his successful 11U squad back for their second year of 12U for 2023. The team won one 12B tournament championship in Fall 2021 before playing in mainly 12Open tournaments in Spring 2022. They challenged the girls by playing against teams one or two years older and they held their own.

We are returning a solid group of players and will be looking for one or two motivated players to fill our 2023 roster.  We are specifically looking for a utility player and outfielder (2010 or strong 2011). Our team motto is HEART (hustle, effort, attitude, respect, and teamwork), and we hold the girls accountable to it.

We will be playing a local and regional 12A/Open schedule. The coaching staff of Coach Romano, Coach Travis, and Coach Machado welcomes any questions about our team.

14 U Revolution Ellison/Sarracino

In the Summer of 2020, Coaches Ellison and Sarracino had opposing 12u teams facing off in the USSSA VA State Championship.  They came away with 1st and 2nd place respectively.  Recognizing the talent on each other’s teams, they decided to join together and form Revolution Ellison / Sarracino in an effort to take their players to the next level.

In the Fall of 2020, the team won Silver Championship in the Madison Small Memorial.  Once they saw what the team was capable of, they began to maximize the players talents and positioning to prepare for the following Spring season.  In that following season, they met with success once again taking 2nd place in the same USSSA VA State Championship.

In the Fall of 2021, as a 13u team, the girls medaled in their first 2 tournaments and then capped off their season with a 2nd place win in the Breast Cancer Awareness tournament.  That Winter the team brought in a trainer and they began stepping up their strength and conditioning training to prepare for 2022.

Now in 2022, much of that training has begun to pay off, as Revolution Ellison / Sarracino has taken 2nd place and 3rd place in 2 of their tournaments so far.

The coaches plan to continue this momentum and further maximize the talent of this team through practice routines that will help players develop stronger softball IQ, develop at their specific positions and improve their talent hitting at the plate.  The goal has always been to grow from the mid-level B team when they started, to an advanced B team and ultimately to an A level team while in the second year of 14u.

14U Revolution Dooley

14U Revolution-Dooley will be entering their 4th season for 2022-2023 led by head coaches Pam Dooley and Joe Dooley.  Over the course of the past four seasons, Revolution-Dooley has demonstrated the ability to develop players who are competitive at the Open level.  Revolution-Dooley hasn’t been short of hardware so far this season bringing home the Silver Bracket Runner up in the Fall 2021 Madison Small Memorial Tournament, placing 1st in the 2022 USA 14O Freeze Your Feet Invitational, 2nd place in the 2022 USSSA Crushers Smackdown Tournament, and 2nd place in the 2022 USSSA NOVA NIT Tournament.  Revolution-Dooley runs college style practices that are fast paced and focus on advanced individual / team drills which are designed to improve individual player ability while increasing player strength and aerobic capacity.  Revolution-Dooley also places significant attention on off-field team development.  Highlights from this past season include a team-building event at a Spartan Race in Ocean City, Maryland; two college campus visits (Mount St. Mary’s University and Emory University) with private on-field workouts with the college team/coach at no cost to the players; and over half the current team traveled to OKC for the WCWS in June 2022.

Revolution-Dooley will hold team practice twice a week from September through July (except for November), leveraging Bolen, the Revs indoor facility, and the Dulles Sportsplex.  The team will compete in tournaments and doubleheaders in Fall 2022, begin Winter practice indoors in early December, host indoor simulation games at the Dulles Sportsplex in January/February 2023, participate in 8-12 tournaments next Spring/Summer, and sprinkle in those critical off-field team development events throughout the year.

Coach Pam is a former NCAA Division I Athlete from Elon University was the recipient of the 2002 Elon University Most Valuable Player Award, selected to the 2002 1st team All Big South Conference, and tallied school records of 25 career homeruns and 132 career RBI's.  Coach Joe played Division I baseball at George Mason and then professionally for several years.  Combined they have 15+ years of coaching travel softball programs (12U-16U) in the Northern Virginia area.

If interested, please reach out to Coach Pam directly to introduce your player and find out more.
