She was selected as first team All District and second team All Region as a junior, as well as first team All District, first team All Region, second team All Met and second team All State as a senior. Joe Dooley attended Chantilly High School where he was an All-District and All-Region performer as both a third baseman and a pitcher. He played collegiately at Guilford College and George Mason University. As a pitcher, Joe led the nation in wins and strikeouts while garnering All-American honors in 2002.
He would go on to play professionally in the Frontier League and the Atlantic League, and was named the starting pitcher in the 2004 Frontier League All-Star game.
In addition to coaching his son's little league teams, Joe has experience coaching travel softball at the 12U, 14U, and 16U levels.
Karl Stanley - Assistant Coach
College of William & Mary
Karl Stanley went to Orange County High School (Orange, VA) where he was a 3-sport standout (football, basketball & baseball). From there, he went on to The College of William & Mary where he played baseball and earned a degree in economics. After college, Karl signed a contract to pitch professionally in the Chicago Cubs organization in 1990 and also pitched in the St. Louis Cardinals and Toronto Blue Jays organizations over the next 6 seasons.
As a hard thrower with a sharp breaking ball, Karl’s career was hampered and shortened by injuries but when healthy, he was often a team and league leader statistically wherever he played including a highlight during the first 3 months of the 1993 season where Karl led all of professional baseball (both minor and major leagues) in pitching before an injury ended his season. Karl lives with his family in Leesburg, VA, and has enjoyed coaching softball at the 8U and 10U levels in the LGSL and with Freedom all-stars as well as youth basketball in the 5th/6th grade division of the CLBL.
